走行中に道路からワイヤレス給電する路線バス「OLEV」が運行開始
「韓国西部の亀尾(クミ)市で、地中に埋め込んだ電線から走行中にワイヤレス給電できる OLEV 路線バスが運行を開始しました。OLEV (Online Electric Vehicle、オンライン電気自動車)を開発したのは韓国の KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology、韓国科学技術院)。」
「KAIST の発表によると、基本的に総運行距離の5%-15%に電線を埋め込めば十分な電力を供給できるとのこと。」
